Does anyone know if the TV games for the 2nd round FA CUP have been chosen yet? LNER not operating so no one travelling down by train on that day. Bollix.
Where on earth is the national interest in Wrexham v Yeovil?? Oh hang on...it's the Wrexham TV love-in isn't it?
Not every driver will be in the union and LNER is trying to work out what services will run. We might end up having to get match tickets then return if confirmed no trains at all.
Ah…the fairytale rise of Wrexham FC. How on earth have they managed it with the measly backing of Disney?
Utterly baffling why Aldershot v Stockport wasn't picked. Aldershot with arguably the biggest result in R1 against high-flying Stockport. Crackers.
In fairness, there actually is national interest in Wrexham. Whether you like it or not, it's got people talking and even following them. Twice this season I've left Oakwell after a poor defeat and heard one of our fans (admittedly both aged around 16) say they're going to support Wrexham instead. People are actually bothered about them now.
Following is not supporting. Hope the 2 young uns enjoy their travels. Or as normal, I guess, talking out of their arse. And was it one or both of the numbnuts.
Because why pick a game on football merits when you can join the love-in over Ryan Reynold's Rectum FC?
Damn. I wanted to use a Rectum pun but mine was too graphic. I was going to say. Are you sure they didn't say "Let's play with each others rectums instead of supporting of Barnsley" .
Hull Trains and Grand Central are both running from Doncaster. 9:25 from Doncaster gets to West Sutton at 12:22. 18:10 returns back to Doncaster at 21:10. £60 each way. Gives plenty of time to explore the delights of Sutton...
Actually, split your journey. Doncaster to London is £44 each way on Hull Trains. St Pancras to West Sutton is £7.7 each way. It'd save you £20...
SOME people are bothered about them. I'm only mildly interested, no more than I am in other league clubs - who's playing for them, how they are getting on, what kind of crowds etc. I don't take special notice of them but am pleased to see an old club that used to play in Europe (by winning the Welsh Cup) on the way back up.
This game is going to be a pain to get to but missing the game is not an option. Just got my ticket - £18. A bit 'belt and braces' but I think we will easily sell out our own allocation.
