    Lost interest in England how can Henderson even get in the squad while in a pub league. Maguire out of form still gets selected Rushford out of form this season still selected. Phillips can't even get a kick for citeh so what is Southgate selecting him for the squad and him been on the bench v Malta? Than ward prowse overlooked. Joke if you ask me.

    I gave the reasons why I'm fed up with England. I didn't watch Malta I won't watch this. I think the way players are selected is a load of ****. Maybe you disagree I don't know you haven't really put a counter argument to my 1st post.

    Absolutely baffling why he continues to pick Henderson with the younger alternatives we have available. The fact that we’ve only 3 games before the Euros would indicate that Southgate intends to take him to Germany.

    I’m sure he’s a lot closer to it than present day pub league Jordan Henderson and Kalvin Phillips who doesn’t play.

    I trust him in tournaments. We've lost a final, lost a semi final, and lost on penalties in a quarter final to the 2nd best side in the tourney.

    He creates a brilliant atmosphere in a group it seems. The players like him and play for him. He's introduced plenty of young and exciting players into the senior side. He's giving Rico Lewis a debut tonight. He got to a semi final with a midfield that include Dele, Lingaard and Ashley Young (although that is hard on Dele because he was class at the time).

    I just wish he'd attack more against the "minnows" in meaningless games - but I appreciate why he doesn't.

    I'm no fan of Henderson but I think Southgate picked him as the solid old hand in midfield bearing in mind that Alexander Arnold is still young.
