Parked up in La Linea this morning and cycled into Gibralta and had a lovely ride round the rock and a walk round the town. That's where the fun stopped. Arriving back at the border to find a massive queue of bikes, scooters and motorbikes which wasn't moving. Decided to leave the bikes there and walk through. Eventually got through after it was explained that we had to show evidence of a return flight or boat crossing before being allowed into the EU. Spoke to a young English woman who works in Gib but lives 3 Miles over the border. She didn't know what the problem was but had never seen it so bad. My sister had warned me about these rules (not new rules to spite the British by the way) but this is the first time it has affected us. Anyway we've got to go back in the morning to get our bikes.... Any fans of I'm a celebrity, make sure Farage gets to eat his own arse.
2 million less people watched the opening episode compared to last year apparently. I didn't, but then I wouldn't anyway. Maybe itv will sort it that he's first out if he's hitting their ratings.
