Christmas around the corner but whoever is responsible should lose their job. It's a very basic error to make is knowing who cannot play. I hope it comes out who is to blame.
Honest mistake or not it shouldn't have happened. We're now a ******* laughing stock across the entire country. Amateur clubs you can expect this sort of error but not a supposed "professional" football club with processes in place. Off the field it's a ******* shambles.
Can't be entirely the fault of just one admin person, I'd expect the footballing side to have a grip of basic eligibility rules.
The problem I find with social media, is that fans of clubs worry too much about what fans of other clubs think about their club. And yet, some other club will do something daft tomorrow, and we'll be forgotten about again.
Your most likely right and I don’t think for a minute it’s been maliciously but it’s monumental Fuk up and someone needs to be relived of there duties
If its a first mistake by this particular person I sincerely hope they don't get sacked, a formal warning and retraining with probation would be enough in my eyes. That being said, I hope Khaled leaves tonight.
Of course it's a mistake. Nobody has deliberately played an ineligible player. But, its also utter incompetence and negligence. It can be two things.
In the real world when you make a mistake like this, an investigation takes place and someone potentially goes through a disciplinary process should the investigation deem it necessary based on a number of different factors. Said disciplinary could lead to a number of different outcomes.
Indeed. That's £41k prize money for winning the first round, plus more for a potential victory over Sutton, so probably £100k, plus any possible future revenue from lucrative future ties.
It undoubtedly will be but one of the prime roles of a CEO is to establish effective Corporate Governance incorporating a full system of internal control which provides checks and assurances on key business operations, processes and decision-making. Time after time the CEO has proved deficient in this respect of operating basic corporate governance and this is just the latest example of it. He should be out on his ear tonight with his job reference rescinded.
