I've not see the imps this season but if they are neat, tidy and quick in possession (like they were last) they will beat us. Love to see otherwise but we don't deal well against those types of teams. I guess Styles, will have his two weeks off, after international duties too, which means there will be nobody to carry the ball forward...I'll go 2..0 Lincoln.
Lincoln have just changed manager, we've got a couple of points to prove. 0-1 late winner from Watters.
Lincoln Red Imps 1 Barnsley 4 coming back from 1-0 down, 2nd half Max Watters hattrick .....oh hang on a minute it's not the Gibraltar team is it. 1-1 Cole
Weirdly, I think we'll win this at a canter. A few players still smarting from Tuesday, plus our proper laikers to come back. The players will take it upon themselves to put a shift in: despite Collins, not because of him.
I try and be confident and hopeful. But struggling to see a win at the moment. 2-0 Lincoln but I’ll be there getting behind them and hoping they prove me wrong.
Let’s hope for a good, positive performance from our strongest possible line up. Straight on the front foot and get that first goal. Make it a great trip for the fans. I don’t want to carry the disappointment of Derby and Bradford into this game, or any ‘off the field’ shenanigans We habitually lose with a whimper at Pride Park and our record sucks when we field weakened teams against lower placed opposition. Big week this, time to step it up or we will be out of the top six.
It's my birthday 2 moz. So woe betide if they don't perform. Performance more important than result. Heres hoping Luca starts.
In view of disappointing performances in recent games, and particularly poor defensive displays, it's hard to be optimistic. Additionally, despite a draw and a loss in our last two away league games, our away record of W5 D 2 L 1 still looks too good. I correctly predicted a 3-0 defeat at Derby, but I genuinely have no real hunch about tomorrow's match. I'll be delighted if we win, but I am not expecting that to happen.
I have a horrible feeling that the feelings of frustration and apathy will be rife at 5pm today, 3-1 Lincoln, we score first, which makes the capitulation hurt all the more.
