    An ok performance in parts but the tendency to sit back rather than attack a narrow lead bit us again.

    So who shone?

    Connell for me. Even at maybe only 80% he showed what we’ve been missing.

    Connell. He’s clearly not quite fully fit compared to last season but still looked a country mile better than anyone else on the field for me.

    Cotter kept going admirably but the lad can’t defend. Nobody else shone.

    Connell into the top ten, and seven points from the top five, after the sum total of one league appearance, an hour in a game we lost 5-1 and a total of just about 90 minutes over two games against Horsham… Sums both him and the rest of the squad up
