    He's an interesting guy and seems to be genuine about what he's seen. I've read all of his books and they are well researched and thought provoking.

    Hmm not sure what to make of all that. Interesting stories but is that all they are - stories? We go to Filey and Hunmanby often and had no idea about these events.

    Maybe that was a one off over that period. Still thought provoking however.

    And what about that strange incident off Flamborough Head in 1970?

    One September night, an RAF Lightning was sent to investigate a UFO tracked over the North Sea. The pilot reported unexplained lights coming toward him before contact was lost. The plane never came back. Weeks later it was found, intact on the sea bed, 5 miles off Flamborough. When recovered, it was found the cockpit canopy was closed but there was no sign of the pilot. For decades UFO buffs maintained this to be a clear case of alien abduction.

    Interesting stuff… there’s still a lightning at Binbrook, being done up as a project. My grandad flew in Lancasters out of that base during WWII.

    I went camping with friends as a 17 year old, many moons ago near Hunmanby, first time away proper from the parents. It was the Hunmanby Carnival and I went into a pub. Woke up in a field miles away six hours later, felt awful, like I'd been probed by aliens and no idea how I got there. Solve that if you can.
