    I suppose that if they’ve bought it, it’s better than it going in the bin. Is the ban against selling it/buying it rather than giving it out free with a purchased meal?

    Wow, just looked it up. I had no idea the ban was so strict (no being against it, just that I literally didn’t know).

    Yeah the ban is really strict. If you had any stock on the day the ban came into force it has to go to landfill and can't be used. There are thousands of tons of it waiting to get buried because it's illegal to use it now even if you already own it.
