Interesting, I was always of the view that Collins had the season and his remit was a top 6 finish. Anything other than that and he should be sacked. However, what's concerning is, who did the background checks on his style of play because it sure doesn't align with the club ethos? Did he lie in his interview and now he's reverted to the style he played over in Florida? We've clearly gone away from a system that was supposed to be a blueprint throughout the club to aid progression and align the younger age categories with the first team.
I'm changing my mind and giving him until Xmas to show he can take this club forward because he has overall responsibility and he's putting fans to sleep :D

Wycombe commentators talking about betting on roulette in Las Vegas, whether the full moon really is a full moon, internet access in Scotland and wearing pink Xmas jumpers.
They pronounce de Gevigney very well.

who would you bring him off for? I would say Cole has had worse half tbh. Both have been closing down and getting no service at all from our midfield

Kane and Styles would come off for me.

Is it too early to bump the thread in September when I clocked he was useless then?

I’m all for blaming Collins and have in previous threads but what’s becoming clear is that he’s picking his team from the Bristol stool chart.

Amazes me how mcatee and Cole get picked out when they have had Jack all to feed off. Styles and kane would be coming off at half time for me too.

Well that was utterly woeful. Again, all kinds of reasons why we can criticise Collins, but you can't blame him for footballers who can't make a 5-yard pass, or get a cross above ankle height.

Not there today so can't specifically comment on how we are playing but it sounds dire.

Not sure why he started with Styles again after Saturday. We were much better in that game after Cosgrove came on and McAtee dropped a bit deeper. Should have started with that especially against a side like Wycombe who are known to be physical.

That was exactly what I expected. We’re clueless and playing a team that don’t have any intention of making a game of it. Watch them sneak a last minute winner. You just know what’s coming….

Jalo. Or basically anyone. Kane, Stlyed and Cotter could also join him.

Constant crosses into the box isn't a tactic suited for our strikers.

But that's what we're doing, it keeps failing and yet we keep trying it.

Over and over. Time is a endless cycle.

We don't want to score too early. More time to defend for.

Desperately poor. I mean really, REALLY awful. Without significant changes, we're not getting out of this league. Wish I'd stayed in the pub.
