    With their appointments it seems like they lick a finger, stick it in the air and see which way the wind's blowing. There doesn't seem to be any science or methodology. We're told we recruit so we can play the high press in which case why sign players like McCart? Upfront we have Watters who spent the back end of last season on loan and proved to everyone, apart from the suits in the West Stand, that he wasn't much cop.

    Yes but the bit people are selective with is the current incumbents were all involved with the club back then too. All pee in the same pot.

    There's something rotten at the core of Barnsley F.C. last season everyone was back onside and behind Duff and team. Parekh has increased his shareholding and injected funds. Someone is advising Parekh poorly. There's someone making seriously bad decisions.

    The more games we play, the more questions these owners need to answer about why they appointed Collins. It's just utterly bizarre, a style of play that is not aligned with the club ethos. Looks like the players are struggling for motivation.

    Got it spot on. The squad look like they going through the motions sometimes eg Styles whilst others are just poor eg Mctee and others playing below their best eg Kane, Williams and Cosgrove.

    The club ethos has clearly changed then because there’s no way you can play the style of football we played last season with our current defence & I’m pretty sure Collins didn’t go out & scout De Gevigney, Shepherd, Lopata etc.

    There’s been a clear shift by people behind the scenes to turn us into a possession based side

    The problem is there’s no ethos at the club at all, the hierarchy might peddle crap about there being an ethos etc, but they are that incompetent at pulling it off. They are a cancer & they are slowly killing the club in all departments, it’s time for them to sell up & let someone else have a go at it.
