1. This far in do they believe their strategy announced at point of takeover is still viable? 2) Are they still committed to it? 3) What do they believe has worked well during their tenure towards these aims? 4)What have they identified towards these aims that needs to change the most to be successful and how will they implement it? 5) What was/is the big news?
We all know that the club messed up with the fa cup and demonstrated a lack of procedural systems in place at the club to ensure we followed the rules but what hasn't really been recognised by the club is that this isn't a one off. Last season we attempted to play a suspended player in the cup and had to hastily remove him from the squad at the last second. This shows that lessons were not learnt. But it's worse than that. The club constantly break advertising laws by advertising things for sale aimed at the end user but only advertising the price plus VAT. The club have repeatedly had this brought to their attention but have continued to flour those regulations. The club have completely disregarded the ban on single use plastic cutlery being provided for fans buying food from the concourses (there us nowhere to return the used cutlery to in order to wash and reuse them and there is no practical way to take dirty cutlery home therefore under the regulations they are deemed single use). The Yorkshire pudding Christmas special kiosk food was sold on Tuesday night without a price being displayed in a prominent location clearly visible to the consumer at the point of sale. As you can see this shows a pattern of failure to follow rules and regulations. Why is this so endemic within the club. Were you as owners and board members aware of this? If not why were you not as fairly senior club employees certainly were? Is it accepted within your company for employees to ignore such breaches of the rules and laws? And do you believe that given your positions in the club you should have been aware of this either via your employees telling you or by yourselves paying enough attention to your business to notice it? What do you intend to do to stop this systematic failure within your company?
How will this work on Monday? Between these questions hosted by BBS and the majority not in this chat?
Why did we choose to put the new tellies on, in the correct ratio, on games with no importance to us. Show us or the scores. Not Watford
Do they feel that refusal to communicate with their paying customers and providing them with a minimalist service, has a negative effect on income? Given the clubs losses, why have they chosen to follow this strategy.
Nice and simple. Do you believe that you are utilising all income streams to their maximum potential? I point you towards a closed fan zone, merchandise kiosks within the stands that have sat closed all season, programs that are practically impossible to find, food kiosks with such slow service that fans simply walk away because they can't get served during half time, food kiosks that don't display prices, a club shop that has demonstrated pathetic customer service, shirts that just weren't available. It's a long list. You are putting in your own money regularly, wouldn't it be better to get these simple things right?
No idea what threshold has been met by us, and likes of Burnley and Coventry who have also issued similar statements. But I don't think we should be slating the club for acting on a warning they have been given. Can you imagine the reaction if there was a sanction imposed, and it transpired the club had ignored a warning. Just don't think that "why can't we stay stood up in the all seater stadium" is a particularly valid question to ask at this forum. We know the answer, it's just that some don't like it. Would be more interesting to ask about the renewal of the lease of Oakwell and any plans for safe standing or any other renovations.
Clearly by not enough as we're still in need of cash injections. There's plenty wrong at the club but not all of it is down to the board. Stupid posts criticising the very idea that a point at Lincoln is a good one. Some folk still refuse to accept that we are no longer a club with a divine right to be in the Championship (if in fact we ever were). They cling to the idea that whenever we're in this League then automatic promotion is the only acceptable option. You can't take a side swipe at the club for making losses at the same time as demanding that we should be waltzing to promotion.
Did the club actively protest against the police's advice to move the Horsham game? Did they protest as strongly as Doncaster? Why wasn't Sunday chosen instead of Friday? Why have we seemingly prioritised a women's game instead of the men's? regulations are that any other match or event must be cancelled with 48 hours notice. When during this farce was the final decision taken to host the women's game on the main pitch that was vacated by moving the mens game?
Who's demanding we waltz to promotion? The clubs stagnant, read Supertykes post above regarding revenue, pretty much sums it up. Losing revenue all over the place. Let the players and coach worry about on field and concentrate on improving off it, that's their job.
Can you ask them to confirm if the equity injections were made to bring the cash from the sales in the summer into the club now? With the way transfers work we might have sold 5-6 million worth of players but that money will probably trickle in over 3/4 years. Will the owners be taking this cash out of the club as it comes in, in the future? Also, ask them simply to rate their management of the club from last summer to now out of 10 and what their plans out for the next 2/3 years to bring this up.
