Our goal against Wycombe on Tuesday was bizarre to say the least. But it's been beaten already. This is from tonight's game in Germany, the Hamburg derby between St Pauli and HSV. It's a poor quality video (it's snowing) but anyway....hope this works. https://x.com/Papa_Dominiik/status/1730648604115673089?s=20
I just don’t understand this ridiculous tactic of two yard passes in your own area, Teams come a cropper with it at the highest level, week after week. Are coaches just blind or stupid? Why tell your players to do that ?
Is it unfathomable that the most successful premier league side in recent history do this every week?
Keith Hill started us off with it. Absolute bonkers with the team we had. Rochdale mk2 trying to act like prime Barcelona

Part of the modern day coaching manual for some baffling reason. You'd think the plan would be to get to the opposition goal.
I played in goal for various school and pub teams from 1967 until about 1990. I wasn't brilliant and made my fair share of bungles. So did the blokes in front of me. But I honestly can't remember a game, even at my level, with that number of ridiculous mistakes in the same game. We spread them out more.
Still think Cosgrove's take's some beating. Wonder how the investigations into irregular betting patterns are going!
Here's another one!. Not sure it would be allowed under the latest rules though. A nifty first time finish.
