    A defence with him and lopata in will never ever work. No speed in it. Got to be one or the other sadly.

    Hence why he's in the middle & Williams is playing at the side of him instead of at RWB. Although I think the one thing to take away from tonight isn't his pace. He's not particularly slow imo. Did extremely well with that Beesley late on when they were both chasing the ball. His starting speed is slow but it definitely picks up when he actually gets going.

    Agreed that's why he's in the middle of the three where he is excellent. I'm shitting myself at the prospect of Williams moving to wing back and MDG, lopata and McCart playing as a back three regularly.

    100% on the money, I'm sounding like a broken record but it's so obvious to everyone bar a few, this system is doomed blackpool worked the ball down the right channel and scored twice by simply drawing one of the CB's across then popping back into a central area....its f****** that easy to play against

    We have a bunch of centre halves that wouldn’t get in any other promotion / play off contender. The defence is nowhere near good enough on a consistent basis, apart from Williams who doesn’t even play in his usual position and Cadden, who is half the player this year.

    Said it for weeks.. one of the reasons I didn't join the clammer for Lopata.. He's even slower..
    We couldn't play a high line high press with this lot.
    As others have said.. our recruitment as been atrocious..
