If we win Saturday we'll have our highest points total after 20 games since1978/79 season.
We must be doing something right.

If we lose every match between now and the end of the season we will get relegated.

If Max Watters scores 2385 goals this season he will win the golden boot

If we win tomorrow I'll buy the club, invest 500 million quid and and set my self on fire in the centre circle.
Less likely to do it if we win on Saturday though.

At our current rate we were more likely to lose last season than this.

If my auntie had a **** she would be my uncle. I think we have been fortunate to accumulate the points we have, we have crumbled to every decent side we have played, out of every cup and the footballs been less than entertaining.

Yep draw or lose now. Hate it when people start adding the points on before a ball is kicked.

FWIW On current form our remaining games are 0.01 of a point easier than the ones we've played already.

in all things in life wait until things are complete before you make a judgment either way.

The issue I would say is that results have been okish but performances seem to be gradually getting worse. But that’s nothing that a bit of good fortune or A player hitting form can’t sort out. If Phillips for example plays like he did in the second half against Reading you’d expect a massive uptick in performances. Hopefully Collins is working with him in training as I suspect he is the key.

Either way until Christmas is done best to not jump to any conclusions

impressed you knew how many goals Watters would score though as I made it up on the spot.

I wasn't jumping to any conclusions just stating what I'd read in a paper. The key word was if we win on Saturday.

yeah and if we never lose again we will never lose again.

We are currently outside the play offs. I would assume this is our very minimum requirement. This can change. Whether we beat Charlton or not probably won’t have a great impact on that either way. Our points tally at the end of the season is what matters.

Anyone with eyes can see we struggle against the better teams and our play lacks a defined style but we often have a little bit extra in offensive positions to drag us over the line. My hope is that performances can improve and we can take things forwards. Pretending everything in the garden is rosy when it isn’t helps no one really.

it would seem reasonable to review the season so far after the Christmas period when we hit the 23 game mark. We need an big improvement in our play by then.
