Hazard a guess that they live far from Barnsley and the games on a Tuesday night. It’s a 5hr round trip for me.

All games that seem to be called off for internationals are then always rescheduled for a midweek night game. Rendering a season ticket fairly uselsss.

6 hour round trip for me. However, my big gripe (which I have aired before) is that all the international breaks have coincided with home games.

The EFL ought to be able to avoid this as the club must lose money with games re-arranged for mid-week.

They could just have no football games on weekends when internationals are on no one would be at detriment then.

I'd go the opposite way. If you can afford to have so many internationals in your squad then you are already privileged so you can just handle the pain when they're playing. Don't like it? Sign cheaper players then.
