Absolute ****** and you know it, it was reported that 1 fan shouted/ sang something about it and was roundly shouted down and condemned by those around him. I was at that match and never heard a thing about his son dying.
I was at that game in the stands and can confirm it was one stupid bloke who thought it was funny. He was quickly shot down by our supporters to the fact that he nearly got hit. Our fans were brilliant that day at dealing with that one individual.

Was just about to say the same thing! I don't think it's a bad signing at all, won't have massive wages at that age, won't be playing 90 minutes, plenty of experience, including experiences of winning promotion etc, be brilliant for the younger players and he'll probably be doing his coaching badges. Good move for both parties imo.
My young son plays/trains at Sharp's Academy in Sheffield, he was there last week running it. Clearly interested in coaching so would make sense.
