If we want to sell our out of contract players in January.

Don’t play William's in a back 3, play him in his best position right wing back.
No one will sign him as a centre back.

Don’t play Cole as the main striker, play him alongside a striker who can hold up or challenge for the ball. If scouts watch him and see the ball keep coming back with no hold up options and the goals drying up.

Kane is sn attacking midfielder and not a defensive one and right footed. He has to play the Phillips position if we want to sell.
Otherwise he will just leave on a free so we will have lost the million quid we paid for him.

Styles is a better wing back than midfielder.Keep him there, we can't sell a player as a midfielder if he doesn't influence the midfield often enough.

Cadden we won't get much money for, he would be better off signing a new contract with us if one is offered.

Right for the 50th time.. Williams plays at RCB because he's the only one with even an ounce of pace it's a needs must, best of a bad job for Collins. Not his fault but pi55 poor recruitment in the summer. When playing 3 at the back the outer two need to be moblie because they need to cover the WB.. So that rules out Mael Lopata and Shepard.. way too slow.
And we'd already brought in an abundance of RWBs, so many we had to farm one out to Gateshead.

Everyone and there mother knows all about Cole.. what he can do and what he can't.. In the summer he's 29.. so it's his last big chance for any kind of payday. Unless someone comes in with a offer he/we can't refuse, he'll be staying and walking in the summer as a free agent to maximise his own earnings.
Kane can play anywhere in midfield and do a decent job. We took a million pound gamble and like Wilks and Thomas before him the punt hasn't payed off (again recruitment, homework?).. No one will pay even half the fee we payed for him, so another that will walk in the summer
Cadden, one of my favourite players.. may be moved on in Jan if he's doesn't want a new deal here. Came for nowt so a fee in the low 100k's I suspect would be accepted. Especially with Dodgson here till may...

Inbound we need at least one tall pacy CB. Two if McCart goes back.. And do our upmost to sign Liam Roberts..

I was hoping this might have been a useful discussion about the relative pros and cons of Ebay, Facebook Marketplace, and Vinted.

    Oh well...

That's what makes me think Williams at right centre back isn't an accident. I think it was the plan.

    It's OK not to agree.

If we are looking to move Williams on in January to get some sort of fee for him then he is better put on display at RWB I think all will agree with that. I'm not commenting on his pace in our back 3 and Lopata De Givegny and McCart should be capable in this league.

Cole looks a better player to me when he is high pressing and not trying to hold the ball up as that isn't his strength.

Kane is a talented player and when utilised in his best role he is worthy of a transfer fee like Cole and Williams are and we shouldn't be losing them for nothing.

Our main saleable asset in Styles doesn't look like a world beater in our midfield but does shine at LWB.

Or if we are happy letting them all go for free or not getting best value then carry on regardless.
