    With all respect to McAtee, he would get nowhere near Luton’s side and still has a lot to do to be a Champ footballer. He’ll be with us until the summer.

    I value McAtee more highly than you appear to, and I am hoping that we make a bid to sign him on a so-called permanent basis in the upcoming window. If he continues to show his recent form, any transfer fee is likely to rise substantially by the end of the season and probably price us out of signing him.

    Luton surely still owe us lots of money for their recent signings so McAtee could come to us for no financial outlay. Just knock a few quid off what is still owed.
