Peterborough didn’t lose 4 of their best players in the summer, were doing okay all things considered.
a good result against a pacy attacking side. played some lovely stuff but just feels like a defeat. when the dust settles I'll think we looked like contenders - if we play like that from now on there won't be many teams that take points off us.
Like in the game previous against Port Vale you mean? Or in what must be the vast majority of our wins this season?
A tad harsh. De Gevingney is 10000% better than he was when he first turned up, and I think there's a solid defender in there. If we recruit well next month and put a solid CB at the side of MDeG, I honestly think we'll look night and day.
I know Roberts saved our bacon with that one on one but at the other end O'Keeffe hit the bar when it was easier to score, Connell had a few shots flash just wide, I think Kane had a shot blocked, Styles curled one over, Watters had one taken from his feet and I'm sure there were others.
No offence but grow up. I’m far from a happy clapoer but an away game against Peterborough is not a must win game. The next 4 home games they are.
No doubt the final result is a little disappointing given we were 0-2 up but I'm proud of this team. If we keep going and make 2 or 3 additions in January then we should be top 6.
Beforehand no. But in the context of being 2-0 up then yes it’s very frustrating to only come away with a point surely everyone must understand or feel that in same way as a Barnsley fan.
It's Dec 29, we've just drawn at the second in the league, no ground lost to them. Last game is very soon, 27th April, almost tomorrow. Although most on here don't seem to like ginger scots (my better half is ginger Welsh and 5'2"' try that!) I believe he is better than any Swede or Austrian of recent vintage and will surpass another non too popular Austrian and a flash in the pan German. Play offs at least. Bump with pleasure. Clap Clap, Clap.
