    1. Call Tony Mowbray first thing in the morning, see what he’s up to.
    2. If he’s up for the challenge get rid of Collins. I’m not one for sacking managers after half a season but this league is awful and frankly, we should be walking it.
    3. Get Marc Roberts in on loan on 1st January. Rooney doesn’t fancy him and is already making him the scapegoat (Teflon that Rooney fella).

    Yes this will cost money and apparently we don’t have any despite getting good fees for loads of players in the last few years……. But it’ll be a drop in the ocean compared to the Championship money we would then receive next season. Speculate to accumulate as they say.

    Let me ask you a question, did you want duff out too at the same point in the season last season?

    Let's be honest, we weren't exactly amazing until we brought Thomas in.

    From the ridiculous to the sublime.

    1 & 2 - which clubs, apart from ones run by complete and utter nutcases, sack their manager when on a run of 1 defeat in 13, after an away draw with the team in 2nd? The very idea is so ridiculous that I couldn't even see someone like Watford doing it.

    3 - brilliant shout. I'll be driving back up north from Dover in January 4th. I'll happily make a detour to Brum to pick Robbo up, as long as he's happy to stay a couple of nights with me in Lincoln before I drop him off in Barnsley on the Saturday.

    You are right. But when everyone is fit he won’t pick him. And I think they’ll spend in January too which could send him way down the pecking order.

    No. And Bobby Thomas certainly improved us I agree. But by this time last season I “got” Duff and was behind him. I can’t say the same for Collins but sincerely hope he proves me wrong.

    Impressed with us tonight. If we can play like that against one of the strongest sides in the league we’ll easily make top 6. Just got to sort a CH out though. Both goals conceded tonight were poor ones.

    Anybody who wants Collins sacked needs their head checking. We’re in superb form, have a shout of getting top six and the players he has at his disposal is a joke sometimes. The fella is doing a decent job with limited resources and deserves the season.
