    This thread was made when we were 9 league games in, since then;

    -we’re still to see a 90 minute performance
    -cannot see out a game
    -his subs’ are terrible
    -picks his favourite at RCB
    -don’t look like a promotion candidate.

    The guy isn’t, wasn’t and is not going to be good enough to give us a good shout a lot promotion.

    Thought their goal was lucky and Roberts should have saved it. Also Wigan had a handful of great chances, so the only shock was it took them so long to equalise.

    Not advocating sacking Collins by any means, especially as we’re sat in the play offs. Sometimes think we’re there despite his management rather than because of it though.
    His tactics obviously work a treat away but crikey we’ve been shocking all season at home. As for his subs today….unbelievable. How did he think the ball was going to stick up top to take the pressure off? After Cole got subbed we barely got in their half.

    Results get him to the end of season. He needs to
    Improve quickly I think that’s very fair to say. He seems incapable of setting teams up to play in more than one way. When we press and are on the front foot we are infinitely better.

    We’re top 6 going into the transfer window. I reckon the Board will be happy with where we are. I don’t think they’ll be even contemplating sacking him.

    My problem is I just don’t see he has what it takes to push us on from here and get us promoted. That’s not a knee jerk reaction after today. It’s an opinion I’ve formed after half a season and playing every team in the League. And today more than ever, has reinforced my opinion.

    And if he doesn’t get us promoted, I personally think he has to go at the end of the season.

    I agree. The worrying thing for me is players seem to be regressing not progressing. Performance levels haven’t improved that much so if you are relying on results alone anything less than promotion isn’t good enough.

    Thing is how ever it is dressed up he is on borrowed time.
    He could have a fantastic second half of the season, smash promotion but the minute we struggle next season the clamour to get rid will be back twice as loud.
