    He's going to lose his seat anyway so he's decided not to bother sticking around now Rishi's bottled the May election. He'll just go and do more lobbying. There's nothing commendable about this.

    His seat is due to go later this year anyway under the boundary changes so whoever takes it will get less than a year as a mp.

    Only one who seems to have any self awareness is Rory Stewart, but even then the cynic in me thinks he's just a plant, or playing the "good guy" to make himself stick out and noticeable.

    Never trust a Tory.
