At the open day Norwood said to me he was gutted to be leaving and didn't want to go. Quite simple. This was whilst he signed autographs
Or maybe he didn't push for a move and was shown the door... The club always says when a popular player leaves that it was them that pushed for a move to stop the club getting flack
If we want to get back to being a regular championship side, we need to be aspiring to much better than an ageing non-league striker. Honestly, if it was anyone other than James Norwood, everyone would be having a meltdown about us being linked to a 30 odd year old National league striker.
Yep imagine if we were linked to will grigg who last time I looked had scored more non league goals than Norwood.
I find it strange that the CEO of a professional business can take a sudden dislike to a member of staff and hastily force them out, without there bring any checks and balances. Nor any recourse for that member of staff to pursue, or any support from his line manager or colleagues, no internal voices of concern? Khaled never struck me as an all powerful dictator figure. Big ego, yes.....but always thought that was a bit small man syndrome.
He told Khaled what he thought of him and told him how runs the club is a joke and he treats the fans like **** and clearly Khaled didn’t appreciate it
Norwood accepted an offer that in his own words was too good to turn down from Oldham.....that is fact and comes from one of players he played with, so I haven’t a clue where you coming from with this tbh
