Hundreds of fans on pitch in protest at owner. Match suspended, likely to be abandoned apparently.

Surely there will be a punishment from the FA for this.

Redding should be fined and punished and tarred n feathered for this nonsense lol.
Even though it's hilarious fan Tom foolery, where do they keep buying all these tennis balls from.

Sports Direct. Watch out for the rise in worth of Mike Ashley in the UK Rich List for 2024.

Interesting that the protest progressed towards the Vale fans.

You'd be a bit miffed as a Port Vale fan having travelled down to Berkshire only to see the match abandoned after 16 minutes play. Reading should be made to reimburse their costs.

I know they are protesting a bad owner but you can't do that. I foresee another points deduction coming for that. And the match should be awarded to Port Vale as a 3-0 win instead of being replayed.

I’d argue they should forfeit the game and refund tickets and travel to all the Vale fans

Has to be a severe penalty you can’t have fans stopping games that’s far worse than the odd pitch invader

It’s blatant anarchy in a football ground and cannot be allowed to happen again.

    Award the points to Vale
Deduct 20 points with immediate effect
Close the ground for at least five games
And obviously compel them to reimburse every away fan who makes a valid claim

Blackpool were fined £50k for similar conduct against Huddersfield back in 2015, result was taken at the time of the abandoned match 0-0.

Yeah I blame Otis for this Redding nonsense lol.
As much as I can understand why their fans are fed up and why they are doing this. They must be stopped, so further punishments should be handed out.
They might even start next season on minus points in Lg Two.

Manufactured club propelled way beyond their proper league status. Rich owner brought them a new ground and new fans but now they’re back where they belong.

It was just after the start of the second half of the last match. And score had no real bearing on the final table as Blackpool finished bottom and udders were already safe. No points deduction (for the next season) which you'd think might set the precedent.

On the Forums the Vale fans are being supportive saying they were in same situation a few years ago
