    BFC Last season 25 games..43 pts..6th place
    This season 25 games..46 pts..6th place
    Last season Leaders had...61 pts
    This season Leaders have..53 pts
Last season 2nd place had...58 pts
This season 2nd place have.52 pts

    BFC This season Scored....48 Against..29 GD 19

Whilst I agree with many of the criticisms, overall.. apart from goals conceded, things look more favourable so far.

Much more open this season ,any top 7 could make automatic as opposed to last season ,was more of the top3 .

I'd have thought goals conceded aren't not bad considering the loss of the best central defender and goalkeeper in the league.

It's totally weird I enjoyed last season much more than this one and I don't know why .

    I know what you mean.

I would guess it's because we'd just had the worst season in living memory and it made a nice change to actually win games, and I would say not necessarily everyone was expecting us to do as well as we did.

We came into this season off the back of a (largely, barring the play off final) successful year and the expectations are that we should be doing well.

I am surprised to see how many more goals we've got this season though.

Last season only got good around February/March when we walloped Derby, Wednesday and Plymouth. By 14 January last year we'd lost 8 league games and gone out of the cup 3-0 at Derby.

Next 3 away games at Stevenage, Oxford and Bolton will give us more idea. Those great wins last season were all at home. We do seem to play better away this season though.

Because the quality of the football played was hell of a lot better last year. This year it seems generally pedestrian and boring.

Tbf the games did start hotting up after Derby 4 0 , was around this time in the season if I can remember Plymouth 2 0 , Wednesday 4 2 .
Remember there was complaints of how dead it was in the ground.
Started to create a bit more atmosphere after the Derby game.

This time last year we were losing 3-0 at home to Bolton then losing 2-0 away at Charlton. I felt both results were harsh with some strange refereeing decisions going against us.

It was February/March where we won eight of nine games where the football and atmosphere seemed to marry one another.

Let's hope for similar this year. We're very well positioned considering lots of upheaval.
