Seemed to get a lot of criticism on their board but considering he s only 20 I thought he did well overall. Any thoughts?
I thought his distribution etc at the beginning of the match was very poor but to be honest I thought the standard of football on display from near enough everyone on the pitch was abysmal with passes going absolutely anywhere and the less said about Bristol's shooting the better. It was as though most of the players on the pitch were vaguely aware of the concept of football but had not actually kicked a ball before
Not sure why he would get lots of criticism if that's the case. given the wasted chances they had of scoring.
Has anyone ever seen John Marquis look anywhere near a competent footballer in the last 12 years? He always seems to look babber against us.
No but he’s got nice hair. they must have spent a few bob on their team. He, Martin, Thomas, Sinclair, Hunt etc will be on a decent wedge
You don't get over 500 games and score 160 goals unless you're a competent footballer.. he's not a great player but at at a lower league level he's fit, hard, a bloody nuisance at times and has the ability to hold the ball up well enough to let better strikers prosper.... his 6 goals this season have been more than Watters and Cosgrove combined.
That's because they got the proportions of Gareth Bale's DNA and simian DNA badly wrong in the lab where he was created.
