Will there be more in comings and outgoings?
    Opinions?

I think we need another body in the middle, not the best football but a defensive player either for cover for Connell or an older head for him to learn off. Can see we’re very vulnerable when he doesn’t play.

Think this team/squad would benefit so much with an older head either in defence or midfield to take control on pitch when we are struggling.

I’m not so sure, I think our squad is fairly bloated already.

I’m expecting a few to leave, whether on loan permanent. I’m thinking Marsh, McCarthy and maybe some of the younger players now there’s no pizza cup.

If we were to sign a central midfielder, I think it would be a younger player to “layer” for the potential loss of Kane and maybe Styles next year. Can’t see an older head coming in.

As fans we always want more I agree with wathred we need cover for Connell for when he's missing and to fetch on when he's been booked or run his blood to water. A player with a bit of pace who can drop a shoulder and go past someone would be nice.

Stewart Baraclough was like a whippet, made loads of goals for Malcolm Macdonald at Newcastle, loved him at Tarn both times, best games at Hilsboro very big pitch.

What I loved about Barra was his crossing. The video of the Rotherham game at Millmoor when we won 4-2 (81/82) is a master class in wing play. That game still stands out to me as the best I've had the privilege to see.

Not sure if its different because york was a non league club, but a player can only play for 2 clubs in 1 season mate. So unless York want him back we won't be able to send him back out on loan

Have a word Baz. Tell him to get his booits art.
Best performance by a Barnsley player ever imo. During that 2-2 draw. Flying pig didnt know if he (himself) was coming or going. First half best performance ever for me.
Definitely more incomings according to Chron.

Really wanted young Carl to exceed, however injuries curtailed his development.

Tbh Baz I remember the connection with his dad and him playing a few games. But not his performances sadly. His career as you say buggered with injury.
