There were plenty of games played on snow covered pitches but none as I recall playing on a frozen pitch.Just thought on Middlesborough away was started on a frozen pitch then abandoned.

No I’m not joking plenty of games will be played in the same conditions up and down the country today at all levels. Calling off the game because it’s been cold and the playing surface is a bit hard is a modern load of ********. Playing in winter conditions is part and parcel of football.

I never said owt about players either did I? Suspect most would want it on. What about the impact we will have now with injuries by having to play yet another midweek game somewhere

That's a bit disappointing. Came down yesterday. Just about to catch a train up to Stevenage from King's X. This whole trip has cost just shy of £700. And all because it was the only ground I'd not visited.

Still, our lass enjoyed Les Mis last night, we'll get to see a couple of the kids tonight and I suppose I've missed Les Miserables 2 this aft!

Yea loads of games going ahead today with a frozen pitch

    Give ya head a shake

It’s a frozen pitch = postponed and rightly so

Timing = terrible and totally unfair on the fans

Collins is saying the pitch was more than playable…

Stevenage had no intention of playing by the sounds…

How can a pitch still be frozen when it's been above freezing for over 24 hours? Complete disregard for 1k+ fans travelling 300 mile round trip for what is probably few little patches where the grass isn't absolutely perfect for the pampered modern day footballers. They should try playing frozen Sunday league pitches covered in dogsh.it

Who’s the best person to judge if a pitch is playable it should be the managers not the fukin referee after all it’s the players that are risking their necks.summat stinks about this.
