Just out of interest. My partner happened to catch a glance at mine tonight and was surprised at the figure, so I suspect there are two distinct groups of people at play here! Bonus points for giving numbers for both personal and work.
None, both personal and work. I fall into the category of those who have to review and delete as they come in.
25.... I look at all emails and then mark as 'unread' to ones which I need to action later on... that answer your question? retired also..
0 for both work and personal, and if I have more than a couple of read emails in either inbox it annoys me so once theyre actioned they get filed away.
I previously had about 25,000, but deleted everything pre 2018 because I figured if I'd not read it by now, I never would. But that was 3 years ago, so I'm probably above that again now. My phone just says 99+
None. I deal with them every day. You never know - sometimes you get an important message! Best not to ignore
625 work - mainly crap that I need to delete. 2800 personal - mainly spam that I need to delete. I really need to start deleting stuff...
Personal 20000 Work 0 The personal one I now barely used as it’s full of spam rubbish. Usually where my mrs has signed up for something with it… like my hourly dose of Dunelm marketing. I hate the place!
0 personal, and retired like others. I also unsubscribe to any emails I get that I am not interested in. Cuts it down no end and stops all the drivel coming in. I would freak out if I had unread messages!
