    Don’t disagree, but my god they’re bad. Cosgrove doesn’t appear to ever win anything. He either gets knocked off the ball or concedes a foul. As for Watters, it now makes me angry watching him. No visible contribution I can see. Rarely within 5 yards of the ball.

    Outstanding 3 points though, in those conditions and a bare squad. Chuffed for the defence.

    Really gritty and determined performance. Say what you like about the quality but when you lose your two most creative midfielders and have to play O’Keeffe in midfield when you’re defending a 1-0 lead you have to say that keeping control of the game is good game management.

    That's the result of the season for me, awful conditions patched up team, injuries the lot, everything against us tonight, we've had luck but so what we've deserved a bit and just beaten a top 6 rival.
    You know what they say about teams that don't play well but grind out results.
    Collins working a minor miracle with the resources he's got, if we get our best 11 out and it clicks someone is due a pasting

    Good win, thought we were the better side and dealt with the conditions better than Oxford. Defence still makes me nervous but hopefully Pines helps get that sorted, think we potentially need another midfielder too.

    I’m usually glass half empty but it’s been a good week or so for the club
