They’re all good, you can’t go wrong. Shoulder of Mutton, White Swan, Vocation, Nightjar. Plenty more. Make sure you go to Trades Club.
White Lion also has a decent range of ales. I'll second the Trades Club; their own Gold is good, plus always 2/3 guest beers. They had Acorn on last time I was in. I'm a member there, which gives you discount on drinks, food (amazing Thai food) and gig tickets. Pint of Gold just £3.20 with mi card
March 2nd there will be 2 bus loads of Barnsley lads there plus more going in on the train . Should be a good afternoon
Super town blighted by skunk and persistent flooding. Enjoy, my votes for the trades club, great venu.
Lovely town, one of the gems of Yorkshire. The market does some really nice food there’s a guy who does cracking curries. Also recommend a walk up to Heptonstall, but maybe before the pubs as it’s quite a steep cobbled path up!
Lovely place. plenty of walking areas then down in town for lunch and beer..no bad places really would highly recommend..
It’s 2 of the lads birthdays , go to a different town every year , never had any problems even in the bigger towns like Halifax or Lincoln
