Really good battling performances fighting both conditions and injuries but who shone?

Very difficult game to pick an individual as it was a team effort but I thought Russell did pretty well as did Roberts.

Went for Roberts in the end. That save one on one early in the second felt pivotal.

Roberts made a couple of key saves to keep us in the game, but that doesn’t tell the whole story. Phillips was good until he had to go off, and McAtee was everywhere and unlucky not to score.
    I’m going with McAtee.

A lot of good performances but I've gone for Russell who didn't let the side down and was getting pelters before the match even started. Special call out for O'Keeffe - I'm not his biggest fan but he probably had his best performance in reds shirt especially when he moved into midfield.

A clean sheet, and surely the most valuable one of the season so far. Follows that it has to be a defender, even if we did ride our luck a little. Atrocious conditions for a centre half to play in, whether kicking into the wind or with it behind your back. Judging the flight of the ball must be a complete nightmare. I've gone with Shepherd, who was absolutely immense bar one booboo which nearly cost us a goal. What I really like about him is that if he makes a mistake he doesn't let it get to him at all. He just gets on with things, and overall he gets a lot more right than he gets wrong.

I’m a huge critic of Jon Russell. A lot of the time I don’t see anything in him whatsoever.

But tonight he contributed to the win more than anyone else, and shades it from Roberts for me. We don’t win the game without either of them; Russell takes it as I haven’t seen this from him before.

Jon Russell did a great job, Cadden fantastic esp first half, McAtee never stopped running, Roberts solid as was De Gevigney. O’Keefe played well having to juggle positions.

Thought Williams did ok too - haven’t said that much this season.

Right decision to sub Cole, he’s no good when backs are against the wall but neither Watters nor Cosgrove showed much.

Best of all that was a cracking team effort and the joy and passion on the players faces at the end was great to see.

    Thought ref was poor.

Torn between 4, Roberts, Russell, MacAtee and Cadden. Voted for Robert’s in the end one save in particular from the free-kick that could easily have squirmed away from him, but his position and handling were spot on

Roberts for me, Phillips and Russell honourable mentions as are Cole and Macatee. Great team effort, looked like they were wanting this win right from thevstart. Excited for Saturday now!

Russell played well after been wrote off on here. Roberts made some vital stops and got young Shepherd out of jail.

Roberts for me just pipping Russell.

The one on one save after Shepherd’s error was superb but also holding on to that free kick late on that bounced in front of him was impressive that could’ve gone anywhere with the wind & pace on it

I thought Phillips was playing excellent first half, shame about his injury. Looked a different player to the rest of the season

Special mention to O'Keefe as well.

The whole starting XI has had at least one vote. I think that highlights what a team effort it was.
