Whenever anyone pointed out that Collins had an equal or better running total than Duff at any point in the season, there were many replies expressing doubt that we'd go on as cracking a run as we managed in February and March last season. I must admit that although I don't think this side is anywhere near peaking, I was also not sure if we'd catch fire like we did during that period. And yet our current run is, I'm guessing, as good as any ten game total under Duff. It doesn't feel as spectacular as we're not hammering teams or hitting promotion rivals for 3 and 4. But the wins are really racking up. Maybe we've actually hit promotion level consistency earlier than last season?
We must be scoring more goals though, even if you take the 7 against Port Vale as an outlier, we’ve still scored many more goals than last season. Personally I think there are a lot of fans still depressed from the game at Wembley and Duff and Norwood leaving and psychologically they’re struggling to be positive.
Valuable poster is Paul d. Did I completely imagine that you took a long break from the bbs Paul? I recall you posting often way back and then nothing until a recent-ish return?
