Rumours that Bradley Dack is coming in the opposite direction, only signed in the summer from Blackburn but had hamstring issues Can't see it myself
A young Bradley Dack would have been be a great signing unfortunately since the 30yr old signed for the black cats in the summer he has only managed 5 starts really poor injury record now.
Out of contract at end of season as well. Unless sunderland take up the option in their favour of another year. Which could put a price on his head.
he's always played well against us, but when I have seen him on TV in the last couple of years he looks past it, slow, and more intent in getting into scraps or hurting opponents. Was quality in his day though, no arguing against that
A fit Dack potentially could do well in this league, however, we do need someone who can hit the ground running. Having said that, wasn’t Matty James coming back from a long injury when we signed him on loan? He didn’t do too badly did he.
Agree he’s past it now. But wasn’t Norwood in a similar boat when we signed him? Past it, unfit, booze problems, no driving license, not played, small injury. I suppose the main difference, was that he came at beginning of season. I don’t disagree in what people are saying, and 6-7 years ago he’d have been perfect - but maybe if he did come (just on loan) he could help see us over the line.
Quality player for L1 to be fair. If it’s just a loan surely an agreement can be made with regards to risk of him breaking down with injury? If so could be an inspired signing. That’s if there’s any truth in it…
Yea imho if he's relatively injury free a no brainer to have him. I would hope we don't pay all the wages too! May be an excellent signing....if true.
