Darton rec. Couple of quid bottle of cider if that counts? First pint in a boozer was probably in Wells Street club. No idea how much it cost though

Mine was probably Bodegas as well, at least in this country. It would have been probably a quid in some promotion on a Wednesday or Thursday night.
Do remember going to Menorca when I was about 16 and I think it was legal to drink at 16 then and I got ratted on San Miguel. Probably about 100 pesetas a pint.

Pontefract Race Course Tote Members Enclosure 1994. My uncle Brian was a member and invited my Dad across from the inside of course to the Paddock. I was suffering with sunstroke so he bought me a pint of Fosters. Why you'd buy a nine year old with suspected sunstroke a pint of Fosters I'll never know. He did and hazard a guess it wasn't cheap.
