    I don’t advocate booing the team I wouldn’t do it myself - but that first half wasn’t in any way acceptable.

    There wasn’t even any urgency about them. At one point at 2-0 Russell had the ball coming towards him with nobody near him, stood completely still oblivious whilst an Exeter player just wandered casually over and took it past him and into the box.

    If ever a half of football deserved to be booed off, this was it. People deserve at least a sleeves rolled up performance second half, have a go.

    Playing poorly is one thing, being out classed by a bottom half team, and especially being outdone for running and effort all over the field, isn’t.

    Long,long ago we played Exeter at home when they were doing well. We completely overran them in the first half and came off 3-0 up. Second half we froze and lost 3-4.
