…which is completely on this board, are they much better than the last lot?! It’s the 27th January and we’ve signed 1 player who’s not going to play until mid-February, whilst letting another on the way out do whatever he wants?! Negligence at its best… Why do we have to play a left footed player at LCB? Everyone knows the kid isn’t good enough yet we still persist and have done nothing about it for 3 weeks. Still to witness a 90 minute performance by a Collins side going into February, there’s also a reason why his name hasn’t been sung once all season. So ******* frustrating…
Let’s not forget we’ve got a guy who’s not qualified currently dealing with transfers… we were told in November that a list of targets were being drawn up, so what’s gone on that nothing’s been done about it? I’m not kicking up a fuss for nothing, we can merely question why a professionally run club is going very, very amateur….
We all know you have an irrational hatred for Hassell, Hemsy. Do you actually think that "nothing’s been done about it"? I've said it a million times on here, but if you were a player why would you sign for any club before deadline day? Your value and salary is only going to increase the further into the window it goes. I'm sure the vast majority of players we're trying to sign will ideally want to sign for a championship team, so they'll be exploring those options first. Likewise if I was an agent I'd be advising all my clients to wait until later in the window to maximise their (and my) earnings.
Take a look at the teams around us, the calibre of player they’re being linked with. Are you confident we’re going to get 3/4 players who’re 1st team ready by 1st February? We shall see… not holding my breath based on where we are in the window.
I mean quite a bit of it is. you are usually unwilling to be reasonable so im not sure why I’m bothering. but to suggest this board are anywhere near as bad as the previous incumbents is a disgrace.
We might bring a couple in at most infact we don’t need 3/4 players we just need more of the current squad to get fit.
It would be just like us wouldn't it, to follow up todays shambles with a great performance and win against Bolton. Err maybe!. Tbf, I think he means we peed away the chance of the top two, for today's match. He's not saying we peed it away for the whole season. At least I hope he's not!.
