Cosgrove missed the target twice when it was easier to make the goaly save it.

Like Cosgrove missing two sitters yesterday or Williams slipping trying to clear it on our goal line

I meant our keeper. I think they were clinical.

Our keeper kept us in it with 2 or 3 cracking saves in front of the ponty.

He did but thought he was at fault for the first one. Went straight through him at the near post. Admittedly the defending leading up it was abysmal.

As a follow up to this, I don't think Collins has been lucky at all.
However, I haven't had the same sulking attitude I normally have after a defeat. We had a relative of ours die yesterday morning. Crystal's Aunty died from cancer, so defeat in a football match didn't even register on the list of issues we've had this weekend.
We could easily win at Bolton next Saturday. We'll never see Muriel again.

Stop talking sense. It’s amazing the number of qualified football coaches posting on here. One wonders why they aren’t working professionally in the game.

Condolences to @George Kerr and @JLWBigLil . I also lost someone last week, a very close pal from my school days. We did the 2018 World Cup together, which turned out to be the last time I saw him in the flesh, though we were always in regular contact. He was 46 years old, and up until April of last year had been extremely fit and healthy. Yesterday's result really doesn't matter on any scale of things, grand or otherwise.
