Another one opening up across from Iceland in town. This town is full of Takeaways, Bookies & Barber shops
My accountant told me of a Barbers near me who he looks after (used to!) - turnover was more than £2m
Been to one in Wath today - always provide an excellent service at reasonable prices. What's the issue?
They aren't an issue - that's what I'm saying. Just wondering why the OP was complaining. I'd rather see a thriving business than a boarded up empty shop.
I would say the question is How many barbers are prepared to set-up shop in face of the competition? Who’d a thought so many Coffee shops doing well in Tarn?
Don't forget coffee shops, eateries, pubs, market stalls and shops. A lot more of each of those than takeaways, bookies and barbers
My only issue is that there must be a lot of Turkish people about otherwise the Turkish barbers would find it difficult to make a living. I was trying (unsuccessfully) to be funny.
I have read that the barbers are used to train successful asylum seekers so that they can have a job and support themselves. Whether that is correct or just an urban myth is another question...
I believe they cut the hair of non Turkish people too. One in our town, cash only and the owner drives a Ferrari. I'm not alleging owt.
