Genius move. We improve two of the crapper sides so they now have more chance of taking points off our promotion rivals than they otherwise would. The players gain valuable experience at a high level, yet any mistakes they make cannot cost Barnsley any goals. A win-win of the highest order.

I don't think shep is ready for this league I think a loan move will do him well

    Yeah, agree.

Cracking lad, and he’s done well for us - just needs a regular spot under the radar to develop more. It’s a massive step up, and he should be proud of how he’s done so far.

Agree. I think he's very close to being ready, but doesn't quite have the consistency needed for a top team, given that we can afford to drop so few points between now and the end of the season. I'm sure he'll be a great asset to Cheltenham.

No, hes nowhere near ready for this level, and bear in mind we're hoping to move up to the league above.
I don't blame him for that though, its wrong that hes been forced in at the deep end.

Don’t know why anyone would see either loan as a bad move in an area we have a lot of cover in. A couple more signings in (loan or otherwise) to cover midfield and strengthen up front would be nice.

Correct. Nice lad or not, he’s nowhere near this level. A bizarre piece of recruitment.
