    It's enough to drive you bonkers. Everybody has been saying all season how crap the defence is. That we have to play conservatively because we can't afford to leave them exposed.
    Then we bring in two viable replacements as well as keeping the two better ones and folk are moaning that we've let the supposed weak links they've been critisising all season go on loan.

    Exactly. Personally I really like both Shepherd and Lopata, but they're both young and inexperienced, and as such will make mistakes from time to time. Certain quarters on here have given both of them pelters for this, yet if you read some posts today you'd be forgiven for thinking we'd just sold Moore and Baresi in their prime.
