…we’ve been failed this month, if it is this kid from MK Dons that could he signing it’s a last minute panic to cover injuries/suspensions.

We’re weaker now than we were at the start of this month, look at the teams around us and the signings they’ve made.

This isn’t a ‘negative’ post before anyone starts, it’s a realistic point of where we are, we’re 1/2 injuries away from a disaster as after the first 11 there’s a major drop off in the squad.

    On to Bolton we go….

I really hope so but just look how we struggled without Kane and Connell last week? The bench isn’t good enough to compensate for any of the first team being out…

Our last 2 league defeats at Derby and last week were both without Kane.. pray he’s back for Saturday.

Shepherd and lapata out pines and Earl in definitely not weaker at all
Williams to RWB will be like a new signing in that area.
Kept hold of all the core players.
Lost styles, big deal, heart the size of a pea ain't putting cadden out of the team not good enough in midfield
    Onwards and upwards

William's has been out of position but some of his defending has been really really poor.

Abodulte happy clapping this post, nowt else.

Sorry but we have just loaned out 3 first team players, each regular starters or on the bench, then bring in a complete unknown.

When was it you last heard it all before and we won promotion. Never is the answer. Please bump this post when we win promotion, cos it ain't happening now.

Season ticket is a no for me next season. Just as I thought we were making progress last season, get to Wembley then rip the teams spine out, employ the blind school in FA cup admin and merchandise affairs, then this window... Done with spending cash for nowt.

Which "complete unknown" are you referring to? Fleetwood's best player who their fans are giving rave reviews to, or the full USA international defender?

    We’re definitely not weaker.

I would say stronger defensively and I’m hoping that will push Williams to right wing back, to improve that too.

I would’ve liked to have seen someone brought into the midfield as we all saw how exposed we were last Saturday. We might still do yet by the sounds of it.

Up front we just have to hope that Cole and McAtee stay fit.

Exactly this might be Fleetwoods best player but never heard of him, we are talking Fleetwood not Fulham, lad might come good but a full USA international come in how many times has he played ? He’s not fit and Brek Shea was a US international!

How many players have we signed from the ‘Fleetwoods’ of this world who had’ ever been heard of’ that went on to play well for us and moved onto and indeed, are playing at a higher level, some commanding good fees? I’ll start with just these few, Ethan Pinnock, Callum Brittain, Kitching,

Correct we can all pick a few diamonds but there are more duds!
Brittain????? He was rubbish though, yes I know he plays occasionally at Blackburn but come on if he’s an example of signing an unknown and polishing then selling him on then I rest my case, out of interest how many million profit did we get for him ?

With a revitalised defence and Williams going back to FB/WB it will help the midfield greatly as well.

When we sold Brad Potts in 2019, one of our star players whilst chasing promotion. In the same month Tom Bradshaw also confirmed that he was staying at Millwall for the rest of the season.... caused a right BBS bed wetting session.

He plays occasionally for Blackburn? I would rest your case with that response, he's played 31 times already this season....

My missus bought me tickets to a concert just before Christmas. I'd never heard of the artist, a young up-and-coming pianist from Italy. It seemed however that people who know what they're on about in the world of music really rate this lad. Unsurprisingly, he was absolutely incredible.

Using the same logic, I'm more than happy to take our recruitment team's judgement on who's worth signing over yours.

As for Pines, he's not match fit. Big difference. Dike was also not match fit when he turned up. Got himself up to speed pretty quickly IIRC.

Massively underwhelming window for a side in our position I’d say. We do it every year though, showing an interest in players that would be great signings then miss out and bring in nobodies. The lad Earl should be decent but Pines isn’t fit and will take a while to settle. As for the supposed signing from MK, he isn’t even a regular at L2 level.
    Very disappointing…..

Have to be honest and if our last signing is the lad from MK then it seems a very strange choice especially if just on loan.
Have to also wonder if all the expectation that gets built up leaves us with a feeling of disappointment with such a final signing.
