Is no one looking at the fact we kept our key players in this window despite there will have been multiple bids? I feel that we still have a strong squad despite only two incomings. The folk on x aren’t real fans!
Forgot about all them being sold.... We've hardly sold any of our assets in the Jan window in recent times but it still creates the usual ballax on here
Two great advantages of coming onto this Board. One, always useful to know where Conway ended up and two, always great to hear from ‘better fans’.
Dallas - hardly played, but scored when he did. However, immediately sending him out on loan was a bit odd. Cosgrove - clearly better than what we've seen so far judging on his career so far. Way too early to write him off. Shepherd - huge potential but not quite ready to play every match. Certainly not "dross". Lopata - see Shepherd. Killip - we need a reserve goalie! He's unlikely to be as good as the first choice mind. That's why he's a reserve. O'Keeffe - inconsistent. Sometimes brilliant, sometimes poor. Has made plenty of positive contributions. His goals against Bristol and Fleetwood have earned us 3 very valuable points. To me, "dross" means players who look out of their depth, have no positive influence on a game, and are lazy.
Seems that they think he’s still involved in the running of the club. And benefits from transfer dealings.
Sam Cosgrove in England 23/24: 23 games, 1 goal 22/23: 43 games, 12 goals 21/22: 37 games, 3 goals 20/21: 27 games, 3 goals As a striker I'd say that's piss poor really. Now granted he's scored a lot in Scotland but I think a few of my ex dinner ladies would bag a few goals against Scottish opposition the standard is so bad.
Was talking to a Plymouth fan this week and he said they didn’t sign him due to the amount of opportunities he missed. I can understand it now.
