Diagnosed with Cancer https://news.sky.com/story/king-dia...ted-treatment-buckingham-palace-says-13064905
So if Charlie snuffs it we could be one car crash away from King Harry and Queen Megan. Of course I wouldn’t wish an accident to befall William and his family, but Harry and Megan taking the throne would be a right laugh. Even more so if they decide they want nothing more to do with the monarchy, as it would then be his uncle taking the crown. That would be even funnier. What would happen if the Princess of Wales decides she no longer wants to brush aside all her husband’s affairs for the sake of the monarchy, and finishes him off with a bread knife? Would we have a 10 year old King with his mother in Holloway, or would it go to Harry then? Apologies if I am coming across as someone who doesn’t care for the monarchy. It’s just the principle of hereditary titles I don’t agree with, not the people, I wish Charles well with his treatment
Prince William shouldn't travel with George and I think it's enforced more after the queen died and I imagine even more strictly with Charles being ill
Got to respect the openness with him, he certainly isn’t hiding and pretending everything is fine behind the scenes. If him being so open about his health issues encourages other men to go and get checked, potentially saving hundred's of men then it can only be a good thing. Hope it’s not too serious and he’s back carrying out his duties soon.
A title for this post could be "If the Royal family were Scousers". Could also be a plot line for Eastenders...
Sad news that. Good that Harry is coming over. He's a very open monarch. Charles taking about things like this will get lots more people getting checked.
If the outcome is bad for him, then we can waste another £100,000,000.... And the police can arrest a lot more republican protestors.
Feel really sorry for anybody with cancer, it’s a terrible disease and I wouldn’t wish it on anybody or make light of it. However the BBC have just spent 99% of their news on it, something that should have amounted to nothing more than the announcement itself and wishing him well.
It would though wouldn’t it? You see news stories about celebrities diagnosed with cancer all the time
Jonnie Irwin passed away last week and his cancer battle was in the press for a few years. Deborah James is another example of a celebrity who caught cancer and it was played out in the press to raise awareness. It happens all the time. Charles isn't the only one because he's King.
Average member of the public, no it wouldn't. Celebrities, royals and anyone else with the potential to raise awareness asking the public, yes it would. Not saying that's right but it's how things work.
Not a royalist but ad wish most people with health problems a full and speedy recovery. dunt matter that he's King.
