It's the main reason why put up so little resistance when my missus suggested a short skiing break in Scotland this week. Personally I think the idea of going looking for snow during the school holidays is the preserve of the truly insane. Especially if someone happened to grow up in a city which is covered in the stuff for 4 months a year. Bonkers.

Anyway, I planned everything to a tee. Drove up today, a couple of days skiing for Mrs and mini while I sit in a café at the bottom of the mountain drinking coffee and pretending to work. Staying in Carlisle on Tuesday to "break up" the journey back. Sold it with a visit to Hadrian's Wall and some other historical bits and bobs. Was feeling extremely smug, and then @Archey 's post appeared which suggests that on Tuesday this week, we're actually 176 miles away from Brunton Park in fcking Shrewsbury.

176, or more accurately 1.76, was originally used by a long since lost contributor to this forum who went by the name of John Dillinger. Although he also thought that tuna ate dolphins.

I often lament that I am a recent addition to the tapestry of this forum. I am but a neophyte amongst grand masters.
I do know that tuna don’t eat dolphins though.

But we ARE playing at Carlisle on Tuesday.
They've sold about 800 for this one.
    Believe me.

I've never been a month out before. Impressive even for me.
