    I was genuinely sad and little bit angry when radio 2 got rid of Steve Wright's afternoon slot but hopefully allowed him to spend a little more time with his family. Sometimes things happen for a reason RIP Steve true radio legend.

    RIP.

    Back in the day, early 90s, his show was the highlight of the day listening to radio 1 at work. Simon Mayo, Simon Bates, Gary Davies/Jackie Brambles, then Steve Wright. His show was proper entertaining.
