Definitely a little paranoid on this one I'm afraid :D

Id just seen a debate online about whether it is or isn't flat and the amount of people saying it is was pretty incredible so figured I'd ask if anyone on here thinks it.

    Ever heard of gravity?
The gases of the atmosphere have mass and are tethered to the earth by gravity. However, some gases, including Hydrogen and Helium have such low mass that they do escape into space, Earth's gravity not being strong enough to keep them.
The Sun on the other hand is so massive that it's gravity stops Hydrogen and Helium escaping. In fact the Sun is almost entirely made up of them.

Your enquiry has been wrongly addressed. I have therefore redirected it to Sheffield S6.

Hi y'all. First vist/post in several months but could not resist as someone I know pointed this thread out to me.

FYI. There is one indisputable fact that rules out a 'Flat Earth' i.e.

In 2022 statistics indicated that there were over 220 million pet cats around the globe. On the other hand, there were at least 480 million street cats worldwide. So, there should be over 600 million cats in the world in total.

So.. Given those facts, if the Earth was indeed flat, anything not 'nailed down' would have been pushed over the edge long ago!

There are plenty of statistics to support those numbers even if they are a 'whisker' out either side. I have a 'feline' though that there are probably even more now. In any case, numbers aside, the argument is 'purr-tinent' 'fur' anyone who still have any doubts that the Earth is a sphere.

Except for 220 million and 480 million totaling 700million rather than 600million...

What's this flat Earth theory? Is it that Antarctica circles the world and trying to explain the no fly zone?

It's quite easy fo me. If we stood on the top of a sphere we would be upright. Stood on the bottom is impossible without being tied down, hence we'd fall off yer silly moos.

Plus although they have mass at Hillsborough...they have no atmosphere....the gravity of which equals sh#t players......and deluded fans (mass.

I have evidence it’s clearly a globe. Lad Bible (you know the ones who had the number 1 hit with we built this city on Sausage Rolls), sent a Buz Lightyear toy into space on a weather balloon and a Go Pro attached streaming it.

at the highest altitude you can clearly see the curvature of the earth! Proof for me! (No way those guys are clever enough to be in on any conspiracy)!
