Blaming a club legend (bobby hassell) over transfer dealings.

It was enough to deactivate again.

I know I've criticised the club but it's okay to criticise constructively. It's never okay to abuse staff or players.

 

I’ve done away with all my ‘socials’. Best thing I ever did. The final straw was the moronic comments about the tragic accident at the ice hockey in the autumn. These @rseholes walk among us and There’s a lot of them. Scary stuff.

 

It's not just our fans on twatter. It seems to be 95% of PEOPLE on that cesspit of a platform that are utter fucktards

 

Completely agree. The abuse JAQ gets is beyond ridiculous, I've seen her being called the s word, b word, everything. And because she likes sticking up for herself, certain people don't like that either. And then the same people expect her and Nareev, who take all this abuse despite the people giving the abuse understanding next to f all about how to run a club or transfer dealings, financials etc, putting their own money in to keep the club afloat and improve it. Imbeciles.

 

I’ve taken to just blocking them. I don’t mind people moaning but they are at it every week and I hate that they pile on JAQ whenever she tweets. She genuinely gets so much abuse on there it’s terrible

Awful - read the comments to JAQ. I'm a moderator on a Barnsley FB page and the difference in traffic between a win and a loss is incredible and some of the comments are awful

 

Was like that plenty before it turned to X unfortunately. Really makes Barnsley fans look bad on there

 

I'd like to see every single one of them banned from Oakwell and hounded out of the club. Some of our supporters are vile. I'd rather see us play in the fourth tier in front of 5000 than be associated with people like that.

 

Nothing to do with him mate. Was exactly the same previous to him buying it. It takes responsibility and accountability away from the actual people abusing others just blaming it on someone else - they have their own minds and should be ashamed of themselves.

 

I closed my account on there when Musk took it over. Not a nice place at all.

 

Doubt if a fraction of them actually attend. Faceless fuckwits.

Did anyone move over to Mastodon/fediverse social media? I'm on there and was desperate to like it but struggled to get to grips with finding people I know and/or interesting accounts to follow.

Both fair points to be honest. I do think it's got worse since he took over though but then I think all the main social medias, twitter, facebook, tiktok, Instagram are very inconsistent and generally poor with their moderation.

 

I know it may be contentious, but in a way I'm glad they're allowed to say whatever they want with him in charge now, because now we can all block the muppets, and as a club we can single out (if their name is known) and ban them from Oakwell. I feel so sorry for JAQ, the crap she gets is disgusting.

 

I think that people are just getting more and more nasty and there is a genuine race to the bottom in terms of how people think they should behave.
