Teams We Never Have Anything To Do With……

    I’ve been supporting BFC for about three decades.

    It got me wondering this week how strange it was that we never seem to cross paths with certain teams.

    For example, Arsenal. I think in that whole time I’ve seen us play them twice and have one player on loan? Also Villa, again I think I’ve seen us play them twice and can’t think of any kind of transfer from them.

    Any others were ships in the night with?

    I remember we played Villa in the League cup when we only had East Stand open - we got the "you've only got one stand" chant from the fans and were soundly beaten on the field.

    they had Grealish in central midfield and we had Gorgeous George Moncur.

    We've played Harrogate Town away twice that I can remember. Both were friendlies though and not competitive games.

    Colin Hoyle and Dean Connelly on free's in the early 90's (I think) but I can't think of anymore.

    I'm assuming I was dreaming or sniffing glue when we had Bergkamp on loan o_O

    Quick edit - how can we forget the god like uselessness of Emmanuel Frimpong?
