What annoys you most about the BBS…

Don’t name and shame a poster… unless you’re willing to have fisticuffs outside Grove Street School. Or you know they live far away. Or you’re actually hard as nails….

 

Honestly not a lot. Even the people who I disagree with the most are all really nice people who would do owt for anyone on here

 

We are all capable of it. as it's difficult to comprehend.
. But not accepting. another persons right to have a different opinion on football related matters and some not, as if you are right, they are wrong, is barmy. "You are in a minority so you are wrong" what a load of bo11ox. Opinions can't be judged as such.
A motm for example is not a fact but a view. It's why so many differ.

When good posters stop posting.

 

Sometimes people reply or comment on a post when they have not actually taken time to read and understand your post and jump to the wrong conclusion or make a scathing reply without just cause.

The assumption that your either a Happy clapper or a Doom merchant with no in-between. it's possible to be critical of the Board, Team or a Player without losing your love and passion for BFC. It's also ok to be supportive when others think we've cocked up. Mainly though opinions are well respected which is why this is the best forum..

 

The very occasional racist, sometimes thinly veiled, posts. They don't really annoy me, they just make me feel very sad, sad that people who are the same species can feel that way about others.

 

I think compared to many forums the BBS is fairly good on differing opinions. Obviously some posters, (most of whom are no longer on here), loved to post inflammatory comments, just to get a rise, which largely just boring after a bit. Lot's of folk don't share my views on some stuff, which is fine with me. I'm not getting upset about someone thinking Cosgrove should start over McAtee, for example, it's just how people see it.

I find "McGeehan 3 match ban" irritating. When did he last play for us? Also irritating, the posts which play on a serious thread title e.g. " Be honest" might turn into "Bee honest" and then "Wasp honest" and so on until there are 10 meaningless threads.
